    Built in 1831, the Brite Building is El Cosmico’s annex at 107-1/2 North Highland St. in the heart of downtown Marfa. The 3800 square foot apartment is located above the Ayn Foundation (which houses several Andy Warhol artworks) and offers an expansive retreat that is similar in spirit to El Cosmico, but with more walls. The unit has two bedrooms with king beds and private bathrooms, as well as generous living, kitchen and dining rooms, panoramic windows and the elegant convergence of art deco and West Texas minimalist design. The Brite Building apartment also offers complimentary wifi, daily housekeeping and a well-stocked minibar.

  • Carmen's Boutique Hotel

  • Corte del Norte

    Corte del Norte is a compound consisting of three houses within walking distance to all of Marfa’s shops, galleries, and restaurants. Para Llevar is our onsite take-out restaurant. The Corte del Norte lush and expansive courtyard includes a stock tank “pool”, semi-outdoor billiards room, glass, and adobe “dining shed” and other outdoor living and dining spaces with fire pits and fireplaces.   • El Cosmico

    Accommodations at El Cosmico include 13 restored vintage trailers, 21 Safari Wall tents and scout tents, 3 Sioux-style tepees,  2 Mongolian yurts, a limited-edition Cosmic Kasita in collaboration between El Cosmico and the micro-home builder Kasita, and tent campsites, along with 3 New Bushtec Tents, while the Jupe Tent will be debuted soon. El Cosmico trailers from the heyday of nomadic recreation have been restored with marine-varnished birch interiors, furnishings collected from around the world and amenities for a comfortable camp experience. 

  • Glampinn Marfa

    Marfa is a unique destination full of intrigue, minimalist art scene and a sense of community pride. Preserving the soul and proud culture of this great American Southwest town, we bring to our guests Glampinn! This is an experience that greets you as soon as you arrive!

    Setting the scene are Six 20-foot tiny homes creatively put together from shipping containers by CargoHomes and one 40 foot container from Metcon.

    Each home will be creatively furnished with ‘minimalist luxury’ which includes a Queen bed, Coffee maker, retro mini-fridge, toaster and microwave, private bathroom, wi-fi and a rooftop deck with unobstructed views of endless sky! Limit to 2 adults per Home.

  • Hotel Paisano

    207 N. Highland St.

    In 1955 Warner Brothers chose Marfa as the location for the filming of the epic movie Giant. In June of that year, the cast and crew including James Dean, Elizabeth Taylor, and Rock Hudson made the hotel their headquarters. Today, the hotel still has many visitors that come to see and remember Giant. The hotel offers a banquet room that seats 100, full-service bar, and private meeting and conference area. Also, an outdoor, covered swimming pool (heated from late April through early October), shopping and a “Giant” memorabilia room with the movie playing continuously. For anyone traveling on State or Federal business, government rates are available  Sunday through Thursday.

  • Hotel Saint George

    A new hotel in a historic footprint, the Hotel Saint George is a full-service, locally owned and operated property in the heart of downtown Marfa. Before it was torn down in 1929, the original Hotel Saint George was, for most of the late 19th century and early 20th century, an oasis for travelers – offering amenities found nowhere else in this corner of the world. Likewise, this newest incarnation of the Hotel Saint George includes two restaurants, as well as a bar and lounge.

  • The Lincoln Marfa

    105 W. Lincoln St.

    The Lincoln is a boutique hotel and lodging community in the heart of Marfa, just steps away from shops, restaurants and galleries. But more than that, it is an experience. This more than century-old property is built around five communal courtyards, featuring lush desert gardens, fire pits, a soaking tank, modern fish pond and bocce ball court. Each suite features its own outdoor sitting area, but feel free to wander the grounds and maybe run into another guest at the pool or perhaps a Lincoln resident sitting around the fire pit. We pride ourselves not only on our design and eco-friendly nature, but on the relationships this unique setting can foster. It’s unlike any other stay in Marfa.

  • Marfa House

    Marfa House was originally built in 1892 as a railroad hotel, and is located two blocks from the Presidio County Courthouse in the heart of the historic center of Marfa.   Marfa House offers a variety of lodging units with modern West Texas décor in its historic adobe, from two bedroom/two bath apartments and one bedroom/one bath units, to studio efficiency spaces.  Several units have full kitchens or kitchenette facilities, and all have free WiFi and TVs.   Common spaces for guest enjoyment include the second floor balcony with central access for all guests, our first floor gallery with gas fireplace, and our two-story screened atrium with a large-screen television and fire pit.  Marfa House is steps from all downtown Marfa venues.

  • Thunderbird Hotel

    A locally run hotel since 1959, Bob Harris of Lake Flato Architects reinvigorated the Thunderbird’s classic 50’s horseshoe shape and interior courtyard for its 2005 reopening. The renovation transformed the structure into a model of modern design and livability while maintaining the original hotel’s bygone feeling. The Thunderbird is everything is everything a small hotel should be, providing privacy, hospitality, and stylishness without pretension. With its pool and pale blue exterior reflecting the desert sky.
